Let's say you just bought a product on January 1, 2019. You can exchange that product up until January 30, 2019. We support exchanges up to 30 days after the time of purchase.
VIOLET doesn't actually exchange the product for you. You must contact the Merchant from whom you purchased the product. They will help facilitate your exchange. Best place to look is the email you got from the merchant after you bought a product. That will have your order number and other information you'll need for an exchange.
As you consider an exchange, there are generally three possible situations you may find yourself in.
Exchanging an item of LESSER value than the item purchased.
This works! The remaining amount will be refunded to you. Make sure the Merchant follows the appropriate directions when using VIOLET.
Exchanging an item of EQUAL value to the item purchased.
This works, too! Simple and easy. The Merchant will be able to process this in their system and exchange the products. They may have ruled regarding the exchange.
Exchanging an item of GREATER value than the item purchased.
