Once the Violet app has been installed in your BigCommerce store you will be able to immediately begin configuring your Violet account.
Setup / Configuration
In order to get your account ready to sell products through Violet you will be prompted to complete the initial setup.
Commission Rate
The commission rate is the percentage of the order subtotal that you are willing to offer the developers who facilitate the transaction of your products through their applications. The higher the commission rate the more likely it is that a developer will choose to sell your products. The rate is entirely up to you, and can be set to 0% if you prefer to offer no commission rate. To increase the odds of your products being sold we recommend a commission rate of 10% or higher. Distribution
Distribution must be enabled before your products will become available to developers for the sale through their applications. If at anytime you want to stop the sale of your products simply disable distribution.
Payout Info
When your products are purchased through a Violet sales channel the proceeds will be deposited into your preferred bank account. By connecting your bank account you provide us with permissions that are limited to deposits only. We cannot read account data or perform withdrawals from this account. Bank accounts in the United States must provide a routing number.
Account Summary
Your account summary offers a brief overview of your Violet account stats. This section provides a count of all products sold, your historical sales total, and the count of your products synced into Violet.
